Heavy rains likely in 9 districts of Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert in 9 districts of Rajasthan. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Nagaur, Tonk and Pali districts.

According to the weather department, torrential rain is expected in some parts of these cities.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the favorable conditions that are currently forming in the state, the light to moderate rainy period will continue for the next two-three days. During this time, it is expected to rain in many cities. At the same time, there has been a round of rain in many parts of the state on Saturday. Around 1 inch of rain has been recorded in maximum Sikar across the state. Apart from this, rainy times have also been seen in Jaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bhilwara and Vanasthali.

Apart from this, the weather department said on Saturday that in the next 24 hours, the monsoon is expected to shift towards the northern part of the axis. Due to this, today it has become possible for the monsoon to be active again in eastern Rajasthan on August 9 and in western Rajasthan on August 10. In such a situation, chances of rain have also increased.
