Himachal Pradesh minister, 2 daughters and PSO test positive

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh power minister Sukh Ram Chaudhary , his two daughters and personal secuirty officer have tested positive for Covid-19. While the minister is being shifted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Shimla for treatment, his daughters are being taken to Covid Care Centre in Mashobra for treatment.

In a tweet on Thursday, the minister asked people who came in his contact recently to isolate themselves. His personal assistant and a BJYM leader arepositive.

However, his health status has left the authorities worried since Chaudhary met a large number of people since July 30, when chief minister Jai Ram Thakur expanded his cabinet in a ceremony held at Rajbhawan, where governor Bandaru Dattatraya, some ministers, the chief secretary and other officials were also present.

After taking oath, Chaudhary had reached Peterhoff hotel, where he met a large number of his supporters from Paonta Sahib assembly constituency of Sirmaur district.

After symptoms, Chaudhary got himself tested.
