Himachal Pradesh reports its highest single-day tally of 139 Covid cases

SHIMLA: The state on Wednesday reported 139 cases of Covid-19 marking the highest single-day tally so far. The state also witnessed recovery of 89 coronavirus patients during the day.


With new cases, the Covid-19 in the state rose to 3,636 of which 1,230 are active patients, 2,362 have recovered, 16 have died while 26 have migrated out of the state.

Himachal Pradesh has recorded a recovery rate of 64.96%.

The fresh coronavirus cases include 24 from Chamba, 13 from Kangra, 17 from Kullu, two from Mandi, 20 from Sirmaur, 47 from Solan and 16 from Una district .
