Himachal Pradesh: Seven die after bus falls into gorge near Dalhousie

AMRITSAR: As many as seven persons died after a private bus fell into a gorge at Banikhet near Dalhousie on Saturday evening. The fateful bus was on way to Dalhousie from Pathankot . According to sources, the driver of the bus lost control while negotiating a turn.


Chamba superintendent of police (SP) Monica Bhutunguru told TOI that according to preliminary information, at least seven persons had died.

The rescue operation was on, she said, and added the death toll could rise.

She said the injured were being shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.
