IIM Amritsar: Nagarajan Ramamoorthy assume charge as the first full time director

Professor Nagarajan Ramamoorthy has assumed charge as the first full time director at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar. In his earlier stints, he has worked with the Indian Airlines, Brakes India Limited of TVS group and Voltas Limited of Tata group. He has even taught at University of Maryland, Marymount University, and University of Houston-Victoria, according to a release shared by the institute.



He received his PG- Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur and Ph.D in business and management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business., University of Maryland, USA.

He has extensive international experience which include two Fulbright teaching and research scholarships to Bulgaria (University of National and World Economy, Sofia) & Latvia (University of Applied Sciences, Valmiera), Inter-Country exchange scholarship to Austria (University of Applied Sciences, St. Polten), among others. He has served on the Peer Review team for Fulbright council for three years in the USA. He has been on the editorial boards of several leading international journals.
