In A Freak Accident, Man Shoots Himself But The Bullet Passes Through His Head & Hits His Wife

During a heated argument with his wife, a man reportedly shot himself in the ear after a heated argument with his wife, and things took an even uglier turn for both of them.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the 34-year-old man and his wife were in their car when they got into an altercation

near the Rampura flyover in Gurugram around 10 pm, Friday evening.

Reportedly, the couple was on their way to a maternity clinic for a routine check-up as the wife is seven months pregnant when a verbal fight broke out between them since the man wanted to drop off his wife at his in-laws' place but she didn't want to go there.

Angry at the wife, he reportedly took out his pistol and placed it on his right temporal and shot himself. However, the bullet passed through the man's head and hit his wife in the neck.

A passerby noticed the couple bleeding out in their car and rushed them to a nearby hospital. Presently, the couple is at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi where the man is fighting for his life while the wife's condition is stable.

Deepak Sehrawar, South Zone DCP has confirmed that an FIR has been registered and an investigation is taking place. The man's wife told the police that the couple had been having regular fights over the last four days over his unemployment. She claimed that her husband was undergoing severe stress due to not having a job.
