In Mulayam's Mainpuri, Police tortured man who complained wife's gangrape

Lucknow | A 41-year-old man was allegedly tortured by Uttar Pradesh Police when he went to file a complaint about his wife’s kidnapping and rape.

According to police, the victim couple are residents of Bulandshahr district who were on there way to their relatives on a motorcycle when the woman was allegedly abducted by the three men in a car.

When the husband dialed up to the police for help, the officials who reached the spot accused him of ‘foul play.’ The police personnel accused the husband of ‘murdering his wife’ and broke his two fingers.

The wife however around five hours later reached the police station and registered a complaint that she was abducted, gang-raped and dumped in Etah district. Following which a complaint was registered in the case.
