IndiGo announces 14 new flights

CHENNAI: IndiGo has announced the launch of 14 flights, including daily direct flights from Chennai to Raipur, Chennai to Bengaluru and Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram , starting next month.

Three of the 14 flights will cover new routes -- Chennai-Raipur, Hyderabad - Gorakhpur and Kolkata–Gorakhpur.

The airline will also add flights on its existing routes -- Chennai - Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru-Mangalore, Bengaluru-Udaipur and Bengaluru-Chennai.

The Chennai-Raipur flight will depart at 10.20am and reach Raipur at 12.20pm. In the return direction, the flight will depart at 12.50pm.

The Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram flight will leave at 2.55pm and reach there at 4.30pm. In the return direction, the flight will depart at 5pm.

The Chennai-Bengaluru flight will depart at 7.40pm and reach Bengaluru at 8.35pm.

Chennai-Raipur and Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram flights will commence on April 7 while Chennai-Bengaluru flight will commence on April 10.

William Boulter, chief commercial officer, IndiGo, said, “We are excited to add 14 new flights to our network along with three new routes connecting Chennai, Raipur and Gorakhpur."
