Infectious disease wreaks havoc in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur,17 killed

Sitapur: Infectious disease has spread in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. So far 17 people have lost their lives in the district due to the infectious disease. More than 1,000 people are sick in about 45 villages. The health department teams are conducting the testing and distribution of medicines by camping in the affected villages.

The maximum number of deaths have been reported in The Gondalamau block.

More than 1,000 people are suffering from the infectious disease in about 45 villages including Gonlamu block of Sitapur district. It may be mentioned that several people have died due to the contagion in Ramgarh village of Vikas Khand of Gandlamau. In fact, the same sugar factory is located in Ramgarh village, causing continuous spread of diseases in the village of the dirty drain.

While the health department teams are camping in the village, the death toll has not stopped, but the CMO of the district has been on the move. Nayar says that so far 17 people have died due to different diseases. On the other hand, the local administration has said that continuous efforts are being made to prevent the disease and people are being made aware.
