Infinix S5 Lite with punch-hole display launched in India at Rs 7,999: Specs and availability

After launching the Infinix S5 in October, Transsion Holdings have introduced Infinix S5 Lite in India. The S5 Lite has a 6.6-inch HD+ punch-hole display, an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and a 4000mAh battery capacity. It is a toned-down version of Infinix S5 and a slightly cheaper variant of the phone. It comes equipped with a triple rear camera array and a 16-megapixel in-display selfie camera.

Priced at Rs 7,999, the Infinix S5 Lite will be available in three colour options - Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan and Violet. It comes in a single 4GB+64GB storage variant. Interested buyers can get their hands on the device starting 12 noon on November 22 via Flipkart.

Infinix S5 Lite specifications

Infinix S5 Lite sports a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, 480 nits of brightness and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 per cent and a pixel density of 268ppi. Under the hood, it has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In terms of the camera department, the Infinix S5 Lite gets a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a dedicated low-light sensor. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Other camera features include AI Face Beauty, AI Portrait, and wide selfie. 

Further, connectivity options include 4G LTE, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It packs a 4000mAh battery which is claimed to offer 18.82 hours of 4G talk time. In addition to this, the Infinix S5 Lite has an accelerometer, digital compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
