As indicated by local people, a delicate had been granted to a Nabarangpur-based temporary worker to set up this substation.

Afterward, the contractual worker subcontracted the venture to someone else. The substation had two transformers of 1.6 MVA limits each. The office was initiated July 26, 2018 by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and in this manner gave over to SOUTHCO.

That said both of the transformers here have quit working even before their two-year upkeep contract could pass. Regardless of rehashed grumblings to the temporary worker, no move has been made either by the contractual worker or SOUTHCO.
