Isha foundation to hold training prog for farmers

Madurai: Isha announced on Tuesday that Isha Agroforestry will be conducting a one-day training programme on cultivation of saplings at Brahmavanam Tree Crop Farm, Uthangarai in Krishnagiri on October 20. One-day training on preparing natural input for farms will also be held on the same day by Isha Agro Movement at Yuvashakshi Natural Farm, Puliyangulam village in Madurai.

During the programs, farmers will be taught to prepare 12 types of natural inputs and chemical-free insecticides among other practical training in farming practices.

Under the Isha agro movement over 8,000 farmers have been trained in natural farming in TN. TNN
