ISRO will make 'Chandrayaan 2' data public
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has said that the researcher data from Chandrayaan-2 will be released in October for worldwide use. On Tuesday, this second lunar mission of the country completed one year.
ISRO had carried out a major mission through the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) - MKIII1, named 'Bahubali'.
The data sent by Chandrayaan-2 is considered important in many ways. It is expected that the plan was to be shared in the annual lunar planetary science conference (ALPSC) to be held in March. But it was postponed due to coronavirus. Chandrayaan-2 entered the Moon's orbit on 20 August 2019. All its 8 payloads are functioning correctly which is a delight for Indian researchers. This news has proved that scientists have done their best.
