Jaipur-SikarDEMU service launched
Jaipur: Minister of railways and commerce & industry Piyush Goyal inaugurated Jaipur-Sikar DEMU passenger service on Monday. The minister flagged off the inaugural run of the JaipurSikar-Jaipur DEMU Service between Jaipur and Sikar through video conferencing.
This service will operate on the newly gauge converted Jaipur-Ringus section.
Regular services of this train will start from Tuesday morning. Member of Parliament from Sikar, Sumedhananda Saraswati participated in the inaugural ceremony from Ringus.
“This railway service is the result of very long efforts. The government and the railway administration worked together, thus, the project was completed rapidly,” Saraswati said.
