Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter between security forces and militants continues in Kulgam

Srinagar: An encounter between terrorists and security forces has started in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Sunday. During this search operation, there is heavy firing on both sides in this encounter. On giving information, a police officer has said that the security forces had cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation after receiving information about the hiding of terrorists in Siganpura area of South Kashmir district.

During this campaign, terrorists started firing, after which this operation turned into an encounter. According to the information, the encounter is still in progress. It is worth mentioning that in Budgam district this morning, the terrorists have shot the BJP head of the Backward Class Front, Abdul Hameed Najar, on Sunday. Nazar has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. The doctor has not given any detailed information regarding his condition so far. This is the third attack on BJP workers in the past five days in the valley.

The ceasefire is being violated by Pakistan on LOC. During this firing, two Indian civilians have also died due to firing. However, some other people of the Indian Army were taken out of the area at the right time and admitted them to the hospital for treatment. However, the Indian Army has given a befitting reply to the Pakistani firing during this period.
