Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch district

Pakistani Army on Monday violated the ceasefire resorting mortar shelling on the forward posts and the nearby villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official said. The official stated that few of the Army personnel and part of an ambush party were injured when two of the mortar shells exploded near them during the mortar shelling on Sunday night.
Likewise, the news agency ANI reported, “Pakistan violated ceasefire in Balakote, Mendhar sector in District Poonch at 22:30 hours on Sunday.” Also, it said, “Indian troops have suffered minor injuries in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Balakote, Mendhar sector last night. The injured were evacuated and are currently under treatment.”
Also, the Rohtak Police station official has received a letter reportedly by Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on Saturday, which threatens to blow up railways stations, temples across the six states by October 8.
