Jasleen Matharu-Anup Jalota's Film Teaser Finally Out; Actress Says,'With This, We Will Tell The World What Exact Relationship Do We Share'- EXCLUSIVE
It was 2018, Jasleen Matharu and Anup Jalota who participated as contestants in Bigg Boss 12 announced their film 'Vo Meri Student Hai' opposite each other. Post their journey in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, a lot of questions were asked about their relationship. The two were shown to be as a couple in the reality show.
However, after their exists, both claimed it to be a Guru Sishya bond in real life and this left a lot of people confused. And to answer that, the two are finally here with the teaser of their much awaited film which is set to release in April this year. In an exclusive interview with us Jasleen went on sharing her excitement regarding the same. Excited Jasleen Matharu told SpotboyE.com, "Finally the wait is over. The film was in making since a long time and it was almost ready for the release also but then lockdown happened after which things got delayed. And then when things opened we got busy with the execution for releasing it in a proper way. It's a very funny film with a different concept and I am very sure people are going to like it. The film is based on me and Anup Ji's life- that how did we met? The film will be released on an OTT platform in April and soon we will disclose the date also." Jasleen claims the film will answer all the questions raised about her and Anup Jalota's relationship status, "A lot of questions have been raised on our relationship. Till now people keep asking questions to us. Like they ask Anup Ji 'Bhabiji kahan par hai?'. Mujhe poochte hain ki 'Jijaji kaise hain?'. There are people who adore us together and say we look good together. Wherever we go people get really very excited to see us together. As a jodi, a few people mock us at the same time there are people who love us together. So, now with help of this film, we will finally tell them what exact relationship do we share? In the teaser also we have left that curiosity."
This is not for the first time when Jasleen will be seen acting in a film, and she hopes now audience will start recognising her as an actor also other than singer, "I have done a film before also which was titled 'Dirty Boss' and now I am doing another film which is titled 'Token'. Other than that, I am also doing a web series. Although people still know me as singer but I hope they get to recognise me as an actor as well."
The film is yet to get released, however, Jasleen and Anup have already teamed up for their next film which they will be announcing next month.
