Jhansi Ki Rani, March 22, preview: Manu all set to leave Jhansi; will Gangadhar stop her?

Manu had left Bithoor after receiving a marriage proposal from Tatya Dikshit, the Royal Priest of Jhansi, for King Gangadhar. Manu is asked to leave Jhansi after she is caught red-handed saving Shiva and Bhima and helping Krantikari Bharat and his team.

Ross succeeds in his mission to stop Gangadhar's marriage with Manu, but he isn't happy with the punishment meted out to her.

Ross wanted Gangadhar to be strict with Manu, but the latter goes soft on her because she was once his prospective Queen.

Ross' aide - Janki Bai (Gangadhar's sister-in-law) is equally happy to realise that the hurdle on her path to the throne of Jhansi is clear. For the unversed, Janki Bai is the most dangerous enemy of King Gangadhar because she has made him take the wrong decisions by misleading him.

Gangadhar trusts her blindly and has high regards for her. Janki Bai takes advantage of Gangadhar's unshakeable faith in her to misguide him.

Apart from misleading him, she also makes him consume a poisonous drink every day to weaken his health. She wants to eliminate him to occupy the throne of Jhansi. Such is her hatred for Gangadhar.

Gangadhar, who has pronounced his verdict against Manu, feels restless. His first wife, Rama Bai's words resonate in his ears, and he wonders what she is trying to convey.

On one hand, Gangadhar feels uncomfortable with his own decision, and on the other, Manu begins to leave Jhansi forever.

Gangadhar sees Manu from his enclosure as she moves towards the exit door. Manu, who is equally overwhelmed, injures herself after stepping on broken pieces of glass.

Manu feels sorry for not being able to reveal the real face of Ross in front of Gangadhar. Manu begins her journey from Jhansi to Bithoor. Will Gangadhar stop her? Let's wait and watch.
