John Corbett kept every item from his Sex and the City wardrobe

John Corbett has kept every item from his Sex and the City wardrobe and still wears some of the designer pieces. The 59-year-old actor starred on the hit U.S. show from 2000 to 2003, appearing as Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw's love interest Aidan Shaw. In a new interview with Glamour, Corbett revealed that the show's costume designer Patricia Field let him take home Aidan's designer wardrobe.
"She is probably my favourite costumer and personality. I love them all, but she, in particular, is just a fantastic personality. If anyone has ever met her, they know exactly what I'm talking about. She let me keep every item of clothing I ever wore on the show," he shared. He even joked he'd kept the underwear he wore during a bathroom scene with Parker. "I have it! I have every item I've ever worn on the show, down to the Calvin Klein tighty whities whenever I was in a bathroom scene with Carrie.
I have the white shirt from the episode where Aidan says, 'You broke my heart!' I got everything, and this was expensive stuff!" he added. "The shoes that I wore were Prada and $700 and I still wear those. She's amazing and let me keep everything. I love her." During the interview, Corbett told the outlet that he hadn't been approached to star in the upcoming Sex and the City reboot, however, just hours later, he seemingly confirmed to New York Post's Page Six that he was reprising his role as Aidan.
Parker commented on a post by Sex and the City fan account @everyoutfitonsatc, which reported the news that Corbett was returning, and drove fans wild with her cryptic response. "I'm not saying one way or another whether our beloved Mr. Corbett's interview deals in facts or fiction but the response is amazing to read... x," she wrote.
