Kalahandi University affiliated: Govt

 

Bhawanipatna: The state government has allowed Bhawanipatna-based Kalahandi University a subsidiary establishment status rather than unitary.

Boss Minister Naveen Patnaik affirmed a proposition of the advanced education division in such manner Monday, said a discharge here Friday.

The Kalahandi Autonomous College was built up in 1960.

The state government had updated it to Kalahandi University in 2018.

Supposedly, the understudies of Kalahandi and Nuapada were relying on Sambalpur University for their authentications and other test related issues. In any case, after the college was announced as subsidiary they can get their authentications from the college.

Outstandingly, with the upgradation of Kalahandi University to the associated college, around 50 schools in Kalahandi and Nuapada will go under its purview. Prior these schools were under Sambalpur University.
