Kanpur Municipal corporation's drive to clean city sets a new record

Kanpur: Kanpur Municipal corporation ( KMC ) has set a new record of 186 hours continuous cleanliness of city. Mayor Pramila Pandey on Saturday evening flagged off the drive from Motijheel headquarter.

Present record of continuous cleaning drive is 180 hours set by Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation .

Before that KMC had set a record of 172 hours. All six zones of the city will be covered in the drive which will conclude at KMC head Quarter on October 2,2022. According to Ajay Sankhwar Nagar Swasthya Adhikari teams will work in three shifts and arrangements have been made to lift the garbage in night too. tnn
