KBC 11: Amitabh Bachchan reveals he cycled from Delhi to Chandigarh during his college days

It won't be wrong to say to that eleventh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most-watched shows on the television. Hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the show has managed to keep the audience hooked with it's interesting and intriguing questions that it offers. That's not it, the show is also loved for the bond that Big B establishes with each and every contestant who appears on the hot seat.

In tonight's episode, Akash Garg for Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh made his way to the hot seat after he correctly answered the fastest finger first question. During the course of his gameplay, Big B revealed that before getting admission in Delhi University, he studied in a Government college in Chandigarh for a while.

While he opened up about how much he loved his college days, Big B also revealed that in order to carry his bicycle, he cycled from Delhi to Chandigarh along with a friend.

"Hame bhi bohut accha lagta tha college ke din. Aur bhaisaab ye keval sainyog hai ke hum bhi Chandigarh mein ek hostel mein padhe hai. Kya hua ki college mein bharti hone gaye toh yahan Delhi mein university mein kisi college mein hamko bharti nahi mila. Toh, kuch hamare mitre the parivaar ke, unhone kaha, Chandigarh mein aapko admission miljayega. Toh Government college Chandigarh mein hamko vahan admission milgaya. Aur fir hum Delhi se Chandigarh chale gaye."

Talking about cycling from Delhi to Chandigarh, the megastar was heard as saying, "Hum cycle apni legaye the kyonki hamare paas aur kuch tha nahi. Toh Delhi se cycle kaise lejayen? Ab train mein leja nahi sakte the kyonki paisa lagta tha, bus mein leja nahi sakte the. Toh hamare sath jo mitre the jinko bhi dakhila mila tha unhone kaha ki yaar cycle karke jaate hai Chandigarh. To humlog cycle karke Delhi se Chandigarh gaye. Itna kashtd nahi tha, hum batyenge kyun. Kyunki hum gaye bus stand pe. Bus stand pe jaake jo bus ja rahi thi Chandigarh, uske peeche jaake khade hogaye. Aur jaise hi sadak pe gaya uske peeche pakad liya aur fir peeche peeche chalte gaye.

Sharing this, the megastar also urged the audience not to do this, "Lekin, jaldi toh pahoch gaye the lekin bohut khatarnak hota hai, jitne bhi log ye dekh rahe ho aisa kabhi kariye ga mat. Lekin pahoch gaye the hum Chandigarh."


Meanwhile, Akash is a fourth-year electronics student studying at Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has won a total amount of Rs. 80,000 and will continue playing tomorrow.
