KBC 11: Gautam Kumar Jha becomes third contestant to win Rs 1 crore; answers this question asked by Big B

Kaun Banega Crorepati is one television show that has been mesmerising the audience ever since it started back in 2000. With Amitabh Bachchan as the host, the knowledge-based reality show makes fans answer some tough GK questions while giving a general dose of entertainment simultaneously. 

Besides this, whenever someone reaches the Rs 1 crore mark, it immediately makes headlines.

In the current season, two contestants have already won Rs 1 crore and now Gautam Kumar Jha, who was seen in the latest episode, has become a crorepati. However, Gaumtan couldn't answer the Rs 7 crore and quit the show with Rs 1 crore. Amitabh Bachchan lauded his performance. 

Gautam Kumar Jha hails from Madhubani district of Gangdwar, Bihar and is a senior section engineer. In yesterday's episode Gautam, who won the fastest finger's first after Akhilesh Kumar's Rs 3,20,000 win, had gone up to Rs 40,000 and was today's roll-over contestant. Besides his impressive knowledge about current affairs, it was his adorable relationship with his wife that Big B noticed.

Sanoj Raj and Babita Tade were the first two contestants who had won Rs 1 crore. While Sanoj was gearing up for her civil services exam, Babita Tade was a mid-day meal chef at a government school.
