Killed for 'honour', three held: Minor

 

A 15-year-old young lady was purportedly killed by her relatives for the sake of respect in Badsikri town in Kaithal region on Thursday. Her incineration was in progress when police authorities, subsequent to getting data, took the half-consumed body for an after death at the PGI, Rohtak.

The police have confined the casualty’s mom, sibling and cousin.

As indicated by cops, they have admitted to their wrongdoing. According to the starter examination, the young lady engaged in extramarital relations with a family member, which was not worthy to the family. She was choked to death, the police said.

Kaithal SP Shashank Kumar Sawan said the police got data about it following which a DSP-drove group was sent to the town. After coming to there, the cops halted the incineration halfway. “We have sent the half-consumed body to the PGI Rohtak for an after death assessment,” the SP stated, including that the expired’s mom, sibling and cousin had admitted to their wrongdoing.
