Kumari Selja flays BJP-JJP government, leads protests in Sonipat

CHANDIGARH: The HPCC President and Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja on Wednesday flayed the Manohar Lal Khattar and Dushyant Chautala led BJP-JJP government of betraying people of Haryana for political interests.

"If things keep going this way, this government will not last long, for sure”, said Selja while addressing the gathering at Sonipat .

The protest against the policies of BJP government was staged by Congress party.

This protest was organized by former speaker Kuldeep Sharma.

During the protest, a memorandum addressed to the President was also submitted to the deputy commissioner of the district.

Launching attack on BJP government, Kumari Selja spoke about ‘notebandi'. She said that the current state of economic crisis started with notebandi. She reminded people that it was Congress party that opposed the move and warned about its fatal impact. She also said that BJP has been misguiding people on this matter.

She accused that anti-people policies pursued by the BJP government are responsible for the poor state of economy and depressed industrial activity. She said that our country is actually in a state of financial emergency. The industries in Haryana are being locked out.

On the employment front also, BJP government has totally failed. Instead of creation of new jobs as claimed by BJP, youth of the state are on road, said Kumari Selja. She further added that the law & order situation is also at its worst in the state. Dalits atrocities are on rise in the current regime. She accused the state government of diversion of the funds meant for scholarship to Dalits.
