KWA opens 207 vending points for water supply

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has established 207 vending points for water supply in regions facing acute shortage this summer. The initiative is part of the Jalam Jeevamritham campaign.
Twelve of the vending points are in Thiruvananthapuram, while Kollam and Pathanamthitta have 17 and 28 respectively.

Alappuzha has 12 while Kottayam and Idukki have six each. The KWA has established eight vending points in Ernakulam, 12 in Thrissur, 18 in Palakkad and 19 each in Malappuram and Kozhikode. Kannur has 27, Wayanad 11 and Kasaragod 12.
