Labourer crushed to death during road construction work in Balasore

Balasore: A labourer lost his life after falling into a machine engaged in road construction work in Nuahata area under Soro police limits of Balasore.

The deceased has been identified as Sashikanta Sahoo, a resident of Balikatirana village of the district, who was engaged in the work under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY)

As per reports, Sahoo was filling fuel in the machine when he accidentally slipped into the machine. After the incident, Sahoo was immediately rushed to Soro Community Health Centre (CHC), where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
