Landslides occurred in Pithoragarh due to highest rainfall, two people missing

Dehradun: Due to the excessive rainfall, a situation of crisis has arisen in many states of the country. A house was buried under debris in Bhyula Tok of Dhami village of Bangapani Tehsil in Pithoragarh city of Uttarakhand. Due to this incident, two family members and cattle are missing. Due to excessive rain on Sunday night, the people of the village could not know about this incident.

When the villagers got up early in the morning and saw the debris in place of the house. The relief work is still going on continuously.

In Gothi village of Tehsil Tehsil of Pithoragarh, this morning a woman has got buried due to debris in the drain. Last night 67 mm rainfall in Dharchula and 65 mm rainfall in Munsiyari caused havoc. The wall of the premises of the winter temple of mother Yamuna Kharsaligaon in Barkot in Uttarkashi city has been badly damaged. Along with this, Yamunotri Highway Ojari here has been blocked since the debris from the wreckage near Dubarkoti.

Due to the highest rainfall late in the night, a large tree collapsed near the Mussoorie Happy Valley Academy. Due to which the electrical services were stopped. Along with this, information has also been received about falling of a tree in Gunhill. The work of cutting down trees is being done by the team of Mussoorie Forest Department. Immediate relief rescue work has been started after this incident. And the missing people are constantly being searched.
