Four J&K Bank Employees Killed After Van Falls into Gorge

Four employees of Jammu & Kashmir lost their lives after the cash van they were travelling in, fell into a gorge on Bani road. Police investigation underway. The cash was recovered and shifted to J&K Bank in Bani, reported ANI.

5 Killed, 40 Injured in Bus Accident on Mumbai-Pune Highway

Five people, including a three-year-old boy and a father-daughter duo, were killed and 40 injured when a bus fell into a valley on the old Mumbai-Pune highway in Maharashtra early morning on Monday, 4 November, police said.

The mishap took place near the Amrutanjan bridge in Dasturi in Khandala ghat at around 5 am, said senior Inspector Dhanaji Kshirsagar of Khopoli police station, adding that the bus fell into a valley 30-40 feet deep.

Man Killed in Collision Between Motorcycles in Amethi

A man was killed and another injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district on Monday, 4 November, police said.

The deceased was identified as Prabhakar (24), they said.

Medical officer of Musfirkhana Community Health Centre Alok Mishra said that the accident took place around 12 noon.

Telangana Tehsildar Immolated to Death

An unknown person, on Monday, 4 November, poured kerosene on Telangana’s Abdullahpurmet Tehsildar, Vijaya, and set her ablaze allegedly over discrepancies in his land records.

She succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. Later, he set himself on fire and has been admitted to a hospital. A case has been registered.

Over 40 Migrants Found Alive in Refrigerated Truck, Says Greek Police

A group of 41 migrants were found alive in a refrigerated truck in northern Greece on Monday, said police, who arrested the driver.

The migrants, of apparent Afghan origin, were mostly in good condition. Seven of them were given first aid in hospital, the police said.
