Learning DL will not be made available in Uttar Pradesh till August 14

Lucknow: Learning driving licenses will not be made available in Uttar Pradesh till August 14. Due to this, the applicants who had received the time slot for learning driving license have been cancelled. These applicants will now be issued a fresh time slot, whose SMS will be sent to their phone.

Ankita Shukla, Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Administration of Lucknow RTO office told that "The process of creating a driving license has been cancelled in the state including Lucknow on Thursday.

The Transport Department has taken this decision in view of safety due to the increase of COVID-19 patients. The applicants who were given time to complete the process of making DL will be given another time in the second week of September. SMS of the time slot date will be received on the mobile of all the applicants".

According to the data released by the Health Department, 4 in ward number seven of Badhni block, 2 in Badhni Bazaar, 1 in Madri Dhakari, 5 in Madhriya Dulhasumali of Burdpur, 3 in Bahripur, 8 in Burdapur market, Benwa of Dumriaganj, One each in Hallaur, Rasulpur, Pipparamlal, Picaura and two in Dumariaganj, 3 in Tenua Bajramari of Etawah block, one in Parsohan, one in Rampurwa of Khesraha, three in Police lines of Naugarh, 6 in Vikas Bhawan, 4 in Ramnagar, 9 in Tetri Bazaar, 1 in Shekhnagar, one in Subhash Nagar at Shohratgarh Community Health Center, four in Parsa Khurd, one in market, were found infected.
