Lecturer booked for fake transfer orders
JAMMU: A computer science lecturer in the School Education Department was booked for allegedly issuing forged and fictitious transfer and posting orders in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an official spokesperson of the crime branch, Jammu, a formal case was registered against the accused, Arfat Ahmed Khan, of Baland Pur in Assar tehsil.
The case was registered after the Director, School Education, Jammu, submitted a formal complaint to the crime branch, alleging that some fake and forged transfer and posting orders of lecturers in the department had been noticed.
A preliminary inquiry was initiated and the involvement of Khan was prima facie established for his role in issuing fake orders of transfers and posting, which also included his own transfer from HSS Jakyas Doda to Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar, among others.
