Lok Sabha elections: BJP to win over 250 seats, predicts satta bazaar

JAISALMER: Known for making election predictions, the satta market in Phalodi is betting on NDA for forming the next government at the Centre.

As per the betting market, BJP will get over 250 seats with NDA winning 300-310 seats. In Rajsathan, it is predicting that the saffron party will get 18-20 seats out of the total 25 constituencies.

The satta bazaar believes that the surgical air strike at Balakot after Pulwama terror attack has swung the sentiment in favour of BJP as they think Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged stronger since then.

The bookies in Phalodi, near Jodhpur , were predicting about 280 seats for NDA prior to the air strike, with BJP winning over 200 seats. But the mood has changed after the air strike, punters said.

Consequently, the satta bazaar has lowered the number of seats for the Congress party to 72-74 from 100. After the Pulwama attack, the undeclared war between India and Pakistan has changed the mood of people in favour of Modi and once again people want to see Modi as prime minister.
