Lose You To Love Me Song Video: Selena Gomez's heartbreaking new track has Justin Bieber written all over it

After teasing the new track for a few days now, Selena Gomez has finally released her new song titled Lose You To Love Me. Over the past few days, the singer has been sharing some of her childhood photos with cryptic captions. Fans sensed that she was teasing a new song to drop. Over the weekend Sel confirmed she is releasing her new song.

Selena has dropped a new, solo song after about four years. While fans were speculating that the song could have a Justin Bieber connection, the video dropped today confirms Selena's new track has been inspired by her relationship with the ex-beau.

The heart-wrenching black and white video, which is shot on a phone, watches Selena unsettled, disturbed and heartbroken. She begins by singing about the promises the former lover made and she fell for it. She chose to put the ex before herself. But her world set on fire and he let it burn. She saw the signs but chose to ignore it. "We'd always go into it blindly/ I needed to lose you to find me. This cancer was killing me softly/I needed to hate you to love me," Gomez sings in the chorus.

"And now the chapter is closed and done/And now it's goodbye, it's goodbye for us," she ends the song. Selena kisses her inhibitions goodbye and lets her vulnerabilities take over the video. Check out the heart-breaking new song video below:
