LPG price reduced: LPG cylinder has become cheaper, check the price in your city!

There is great news for LPG consumers! Especially in the commercial sector, a huge reduction in the price of LPG gas has been announced. However, the price of LPG cylinders has remained unchanged from last month. On May 1, 2023, a reduction of Rs 172 was seen in the price of commercial gas cylinders.

The price of commercial gas in New Delhi has decreased by Rs 83.5, which is now at Rs 1773. Last month its price was Rs 1856.50 per cylinder. From June 1, residents of Delhi can buy a replacement commercial gas cylinder for Rs 1,773. It will be available in Kolkata for Rs.1875.50.

A 19 kg commercial gas cylinder now costs Rs 1725 in Mumbai, while the LPG price in Chennai is Rs 1973. The price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been reduced from Rs 83.50 to Rs 1773 from Rs 1856.50. In Kolkata, it has come down from Rs 1960.50 to Rs 1875.50. Similarly, commercial gas has become cheaper by Rs 83.50 in Mumbai, which is now Rs 1725. LPG gas price in Chennai has decreased by Rs 84.50 to reach Rs 1937. LPG in Noida is at Rs 1,100.50.

What about domestic LPG prices?

There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG for the last few months. The last update was in March and the prices have remained stable since then. The prices vary from place to place: Rs 1340 in Leh, Rs 1260 in Aizawl, Rs 1108.5 in Bhopal, Rs 1106.5 in Jaipur, Rs 1105.5 in Bengaluru, Rs 1103 in Delhi, Rs 1102.5 in Mumbai and Rs 1219 in Srinagar.

The domestic gas price in Patna is Rs 1201, in Kanyakumari it is Rs 1187. Rs 1179 in Andaman, Rs 1160.5 in Ranchi, Rs 1122 in Dehradun, Rs 1118.5 in Chennai, Rs 1115.5 in Agra, Rs 1112.5 in Chandigarh, Rs 1110 in Ahmedabad, Rs 1147.5 in Shimla and Rs 1140.5 in Lucknow.
