Madhya Pradesh arms smuggler held with two pistols in Morbi

RAJKOT: An arms smuggler from Madhya Pradesh was arrested with two country made pistols and five live cartridges worth Rs 20,500 from Mahendranagar Chowkadi in Morbi on Thursday night.


Police said the accused, identified as Mukeshsinh Kushwaha, had brought the arms and ammunition from Madhya Pradesh.

“Kushwaha used to live in Bapunagar locality of Ahmedabad and he had come to sell the pistols and cartridges in Morbi. We are going to produce him before a court here to seek his remand to find out the name of the person whom he was supposed to deliver the arms and ammunition,” said an official from Morbi local crime branch.
