Madhya Pradesh: RPF DIG booked for molesting woman onboard Indore-Jabalpur Express

BHOPAL/JABALPUR: A railway official has been booked for allegedly molesting a woman inside an AC coach of Indore-Jabalpur Express on Monday morning.


The deputy inspector general of railway protection force (RPF) has been booked for allegedly molesting the woman inside an AC coach of Indore-Jabalpur Express.

Accused DIG and the complainant woman, along with her six-year-old daughter, were travelling in A1 coach on adjacent berths.

The alleged case reportedly took place when the train was between Sridham and Narsingpur. GRP Jabalpur has registered the case against DIG and forwarded the case diary to Gadarwara.

GRP SP Sunil Jain told TOI that the officer has been booked under section 354 (A) (making sexually coloured remarks) and investigations are on.
