Madhya Pradesh: Six injured as bus overturns in Khandwa district

INDORE: At least six persons, including two children, sustained injuries when a bus they were travelling on overturned on Indore-Ichhapur highway in Khandwa district on Monday afternoon.


The bus carrying passengers from Burhanpur to Indore overturned near Rustampur and Dular villages, Pandhana police said.

The driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle at a sharp turn, causing the vehicle to swing off the road on to an agriculture field, before it overturned, they said adding six persons, including two children, sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police have registered a case and trying to ascertain if the bus was being driven rashly.
