Madhya Pradesh: Three held for raping minor in Mandsaur village

INDORE: Three persons were arrested on Monday for raping a minor girl after abducting her from a village of Mandsaur district . The 17-year-old rape survivor had lodged a complaint with the Pipliamandi police station alleging that the accused abducted her from her village and took her to an isolated spot near a temple in Sabakheda village, where they beat her up and gang raped her, police said.

The accused also threatened her of dire consequences if she went to the police, they said, adding that the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents, following which they lodged a complaint with the police.

Police arrested Ganpat Gyari, Anil Naik and Prabhu alias Ballu Bheel. They were booked under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code for abduction and rape.
