Man found murdered in Charkhi Dadri village

CHANDIGARH: A man who had gone missing from his house two days ago was found murdered on the outskirts of Ranila village in Charkhi Dadri on Monday morning. The injuries were caused by blunt and sharpedged weapons and the body of the victim identified as Krishan Kumar was found in bushes.


Police have started the investigations after registering a case of murder at Bond Kalan police station.

Krishan’s body was handed over to kin after a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered on the complaint of Krishan’s father, who suspected involvement of three persons.

According to information, Krishan had gone missing from a bus stand on Saturday evening. Following this, his parents had lodged a missing report at a police station. The cops said that it was on Monday afternoon that somebody told them about a body being found. His parents were informed and they identified the body, following which a formal complaint was lodged.

Preliminary investigations suggested that Krishan had been murdered due to alleged enmity with certain residents of the village. On Saturday evening, three persons had kidnapped him from near the village bus stop following a spat. Since then he had gone missing. Police said that further investigations were in progress and police parties were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
