Man kills sister in Keshod

Rajkot: A land dispute turned gory when a 47-year-old woman was clubbed to death allegedly by her own brother and his four aides in Gelana village of Keshod taluka in Junagadh district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Vandana Sejani and the accused as her brother Sudhir Sejani, his wife Asmita Sejani, his cousin Bhumit Sejani, his wife Kinjal Senjani and his another cousin Vaju Sejani.

According to the complaint lodged by Vandana’s sister Vanita Panara, Vandana had inherited a 14-bigha plot of agricultural land from her ancestors, in which, Sudhir also had a share. However, the possession of the land was with Vandana, who refused to give Sudhir his share. The brother had also moved court against Vandana, cops said. TNN
