Man kills younger brother over petty issue in Jasdan

Rajkot: A man allegedly killed his younger brother with the help of his wife on the outskirts of Lilapur village of Jasdan taluka of Rajkot district Sunday night. The accused, identified as Lotiyo Davor (27) and his wife Bhanu (24), were arrested on the same night.

Davor was angry with his brother Dinesh for not attending labour work.

After the brothers fought, Davor and Bhanu attacked Dinesh with a knife and an iron pipe.

“Dinesh was taken to Jasdan Civil Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival,” said an official from Jasdan police station. The complaint in this connection was lodged by Pravin Ramani (50) on whose farm the crime was committed.
