Man murders elder brother over money dispute

Vadodara: A man was murdered in the Sapa village of Godhra taluka on Tuesday night by his brother. The brother had a dispute over distribution of money from the produce of their farm.

According to sources, a family staying in the village had sold fodder they had grown in the farm. The family comprises of four brothers and their mother.

One of the brothers Kanaiya Patel claimed that he had got a low share after the sale of fodder.

On Tuesday night, Kanaiya who was in an inebriated state beat up his brother Mahendra Patel with a stick. Kanaiya then informed their mother about the murder and escaped when the police reached the village. The police is trying to trace Kanaiya.
