Man stabs petrol pump owner, held

TIRUPUR: A 35-year-old man was arrested for stabbing the owner of a petrol pump at Kongu Nagar on Sunday.


The accused was identified as Sudhish Pandi of Anupparpalayam. “On Sunday, his brother Ganesh Pandi had a quarrel with Suresh, who was working in the pump. Suresh stabbed Ganesh and ran away. The injured man was rushed to a private hospital.

Following the incident, Sudhish was searching for Suresh. He arrived at the pump looking for him and when he could not find him, had a quarrel with the pump’s owner Ramesh and stabbed him,” a police officer said. Passersby caught Sudhish when he tried to flee and handed him over to police.
