The UEFA Champions League group stage continues tonight with the first game on matchday 2 of the group stages being played at the Etihad Stadium between Manchester City and RB Leipzig in Group A. Manchester City did not open their 2021-2022 campaign on a good note in the Premier League although the Citizens have been merciless after a forgetful start.

In the previous three games, City has scored a total of 11 goals in the last three games. Pep Guardiola's men would want to dominate from the start after losing out in the final against Chelsea last season. The team has a plethora of options to choose their starting eleven. We could see the start of Oleksandr Zinchenko and John Stones as they are yet to start for City this season.

RB Leipzig and Jesse Marsch are yet to find a rhythm as they are coming out of a 4-1 defeat against Bayern Munchen. They have lost three of their last four matches and conceded six goals in Bundesliga. Amadou Haidara, Tyler Adams, and Emil Forsberg can be slotted in since they didn't start against Bayern. A good head start to the race is critical for them in the upcoming rounds, where they will face two giants in Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
