Medical aspirant ends life in Kota
KOTA: A 17-year-old girl from Bihar , who was studying in Class XI and preparing for NEET at a premier coaching institute in Kota, committed suicide on Wednesday afternoon by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her hostel room in Dadabari police station area.
Dadabari police has lodged a case under Section 174 of CrPC to ascertain the actual reason of death as no suicide note was recovered from her room.
The girl’s body has been kept in the mortuary of MBS Hospital for post-mortem to be carried out after arrival of her family members from Bihar.
A 17-year-old girl, identified as Sonali Kumari, a resident of Sherpur area in Bihar on Wednesday committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her hostel room, said assistant sub inspector at Dadabari police station Bajrang Lal. The deceased girl was a Class XI student who had arrived in Kota in May this year to prepare for NEET exam. She took admission in a premier coaching institute of the city for the purpose, he added.
