During the last 24 hours in Rajasthan, moderate and heavy rainfall was recorded in some parts of the eastern and western areas. According to the Meteorological Department, from Tuesday morning to evening, the capital Jaipur recorded 22.8 mm rainfall, Kota 25 mm, Bikaner two mm, and Ajmer 0.5 mm rainfall.

In many parts of the capital Jaipur, the rain started late in the evening and continued till late at night.

According to the department, the state received 7.5–7.5 cm of rainfall in Jaipur tehsil of Jaipur and Desuri of Pali, seven cm in Govind Garh in Alwar during the last 24 hours. Rainfall was recorded at 6.7 cm in Shahabad in Banra, 6.2 cm in Roht of Pali, 6.3 cm in Kumher in Bharatpur, 6.2 cm in Mount Abu Tehsil of Sirohi, and in many other places from six centimeters to three centimeters.

The department has forecast heavy rainfall at some places in the districts of Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Dausa, Dhaulpur, Karauli, Kota, Rajsamand, Udaipur during the next 24 hours. (Agency)
