Mild intensity earthquake hits Meghalaya

Shillong/UNI: A mild intensity earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit Indo-Bangladesh border at Meghalaya around 7.10 am this morning.

The epicentre of the quake was 82 kms South West of Sohra, Meghalaya.

The earthquake was of mild intensity with a depth of 55 km, informed IMD officials.

There were no reports of any damage from any part of the North Eastern region.

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit Bangladesh-India border region on Wednesday morning, according to National Center for Seismology (NCS).
