Minor gang-raped in Jamnagar, seven arrested

Rajkot: Seven persons including a woman and two minors were arrested on Saturday for allegedly gang raping a minor girl of Ishwariya village of Lalpur taluka in Jamnagar district.

The accused were identified as Jayesh Bambhava (22), Hitesh Malaviya (33), Deviram Narsing, Prakash Shishangia, their two minor accomplices and Farida Dodai, who abetted the crime.

“The accused had allegedly gang-raped the survivor repeatedly and impregnated her with a six-month-old foetus. After she got pregnant, the survivor approached us with a complaint,” said an official from Lalpur police station.
