Minor raped in Jhalawar district

Kota: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old youth at a village in Manoharthana police station area of Jhalawar district on Thursday. The survivor lodged an FIR on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. As per the FIR, the girl was alone at home when Diwan Singh Gujjar (25) began harassing her. She managed to escape to her uncle’s home.

Police have booked Gujjar under Section 376 of IPC and sections of POCSO Act. The accused has not been arrested yet.
