Mizoram 12th Board Exam 2020 to resume on June 16 for Arts, Science and Commerce stream

Mizoram Board of School Education, MBSE has decided to resume the remaining Mizoram 12th Board Exam 2020 from June 16 onwards. The Class 12 examination would be conducted for all three streams- Arts, Commerce, and Science. The Board exam would be conducted from June 16 to June 18, 2020.

The Board has issued a notification where it has stated that the examination of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) for remaining subjects in arts, science and commerce streams will be conducted between June 16 and 18.

Earlier the government had decided to resume Class 12 examination from April 22 to April 24, 2020, which was postponed due to ardent protests by students. While speaking to HT, an official said that around 4,700 students could not complete their board examinations in Economics, Chemistry, Sociology, Computer Science and Home Science.

The Board in a separate notification has also said that the compartmental examination for Class 10 would be conducted on June 16 at 11 centers across the state. The Class 10 result was announced by the Board on May 13, 2020

. Lalhlimpuii C Vanlalsiama topped the exam with 476 marks. The total passing percentage was 68.33 percent and 66.94 percent of females were declared passed compared to 69.91 male students.
